The Residency
Join us in Ojai, California, this February for our inaugural Source Work Residency: an entry point to the year-long writers’ program and an open-invite training for artists across mediums.
Deepen your understanding of the practice, learn to enter the imaginal independently, and develop the skills to hold space for others and guide them through the process.
This is how the practice becomes a movement. Our residents leave equipped to carry Source Work into writers’ rooms, film productions, graduate classrooms, and beyond, changing how stories are developed and how the next generation of storytellers is taught.
Hosted at Ojai Retreat & Inn, on a hilltop with panoramic views of the Ojai Valley.
Deep Source: a guided descent into deep imagination.
Through breath, gentle movement, and focused attention, shift out of ego consciousness and into the imaginal field.
The material takes on a life of its own. Characters begin to speak. Flow returns.
Then, and only then, bring in structure, form, and the demands of the marketplace.
Free introductory workshop · Live on Zoom
A brief lecture on the Source Work method, followed by a guided descent into the imaginal realm, where every great story begins. Leave with the beginnings of a practice that anchors your creative work in the human imagination, at a time when so much is being made without it.
We’ll close with an open Q&A, including questions about Sourcery School and the residency. This evening is the best way to experience the method before enrolling or joining us in Ojai this February.
