Beneath the Script
Working as an on-set and in-room Depth Dramaturg, Louise Rosager brings Source Work to TV writers’ rooms and film productions.
She guides creative teams below the surface of the development process and into the individual and collective wells of symbol and image that make work original and universally resonant. The result is shared imaginal ground the whole team can draw on, and return to whenever the work loses its pulse.
Like a traditional dramaturg, Louise provides context and pathways into the developing work. The difference is where her understanding comes from: the symbolic, mythic, and imaginal layer beneath the script.

A former Shakespearean actor and TV writer-producer, trained in Dream Tending under Stephen Aizenstat at Pacifica Graduate Institute, Louise is equally skilled at sourcing material from this deep place and shaping it through structure, form, and the demands of the marketplace. She holds Matter and Pattern in balance.
Her work spans the full life of a project. It begins with mythic sourcing and incubation, using imaginal and subconscious techniques to develop new work. It continues through final polish, holding the mythic undercurrent across an entire production.

InquireFree introductory workshop · Live on Zoom
A brief lecture on the Source Work method, followed by a guided descent into the imaginal realm, where every great story begins. Leave with the beginnings of a practice that anchors your creative work in the human imagination, at a time when so much is being made without it.
We’ll close with an open Q&A, including questions about Sourcery School and the residency. This evening is the best way to experience the method before enrolling or joining us in Ojai this February.
